Watts has developed and makes available this powerful program for saving and inserting "WBLOCK" from an dialogue box. It allows you to create your own library of symbols, on the fly. To insert the symbol, just select, the symbol description you have given it. You will visually see a slide of the symbol you have picked. Libmaker graphical interface inside dialog box makes this program fast and easy to use. It allows you to create, rename, move and delete library and symbols. The unregistered version contains the same set of tools as in the registered version. You can save all your symbols, but unlike the registered version, you can only have one library in your library list. SETTING UP LIBMAKER IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for this program to properly work all files must be in a directory that AutoCAD recognizes in its search path. INSTALLATION STEPS: Since LIBMAKER needs to find its files during execution, LIBMAKER directory must be included in the AutoCAD search path environment variable. DOS: SET ACAD=C:\LIBMAKER Windows: Make sure the directory you choose is included in the AutoCAD search path environment variable, in the Preferences (environment). c:\LIBMAKER Once installed, go into AutoCAD and from the "Command:" prompt type: Command: (load "LIBMAKER") (this will load the LIBMAKER.LSP file) Command: libmk (this runs the program) Distribution Files LIBMKDMO.LSP - Main Program LIBMKER.DCL - Dialogue Definitions IMGTEST.DCL - Dialogue Definitions ORDERLIB.TXT - Registration/ORDER form (Print & Mail) REGISLIB.TXT - Registration Agreement DOCUMLIB.TXT - Documentation, LIBMAKER USER'S MANUAL FAI.SLD MAIN_LST.LIB MAIN_LST.TXT LIBMKER.DWG If any of these files are missing, you have an unauthorized or incomplete LIBMAKER. LIBMAKER DIALOGUE BOX : Type LIBMK at the command: prompt. The LIBMAKER dialog box will appear. The main dialog box is for selecting and inserting symbols. Just select the library and symbol you want to insert, then pick OK. From the main dialog box you can pick MODIFY LIBRARY, this will bring up an dialog box with tools for modifying your library. MODIFY LIBRARY DIALOGUE BOX TOOLS: Your Logo Slide: First you must make a slide in AutoCAD and then pick the GET button to put your Logo slide in the Logo Window. Pick your slide from the SLIDE FILE BOX and the pick OK. You will be prompted to "replace existing file?" pick "YES". Library to modify: Is a list of your library. To modify a library, you must first pick a library to modify. CREATE LIBRARY: You are prompted for a description and then you create a file name for you library ("Sample.lib"). MOVE LIBRARY: You are prompted to pick the library you want to move and then you are prompted to pick the library you want to move in front of. DELETE: You are prompted to pick the library to delete. NOTE Libmaker will "shell out to DOS" to delete the file. Rename Library: Pick the edit box and type in the new description, then pick SET. The new description will be redefined in the Library List. Symbol to modify: Is a list of your symbol. To modify the symbol list, you must first pick a symbol. CREATE SYMBOL: You are prompted for a description and then you create a file name for your symbol (just like wblock command). Then you are prompted to select the symbol elements and base point. A slide will be automatically created and you will be prompted if you want a base point "Mark" (Y/N). The base point "Mark" is on the slide only. You will be prompted to type U to restore entities. MOVE SYMBOL: You are prompted to pick the symbol you want to move, then you are prompted to pick the symbol you want to move in front of. DELETE: You are prompted to pick the symbol to delete. Rename Symbol: Pick the edit box and type in the new description, then pick SET. The new description will be redefined in the Symbol List. LIBMAKER is design to save you drawing time.
